About Me…

Growing up with family members and friends in the film, TV, and fashion industries, whether it was in the offices of a broadcast television network or on set of a gory war movie, my favorite place to be was with the makeup artists. I would watch and absorb every move they made. From there, I began doing makeup for school plays, as it became clear very quickly to me (and my theater teachers) that I would not thrive on stage. As I grew older, I progressed to prom/event makeup and then to editorial makeup for photographers and designers in New York. I continued this through college at Pace University in Manhattan where I studied Sociology, Anthropology, and Art. After graduating college I moved to Los Angeles and have been working mostly on short films and photo shoots. I also attended Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles where I studied various techniques in beauty and SFX makeup as part of their Master Makeup Program.
